Before you put pen to paper on your new years goals, consider taking some time to reflect on what worked and what didn't in 2021. I really love this concept of the 4 "Ls" and reflecting on what I liked (loved), learned, lacked and longed for. It does a good job of covering wants, needs and unmet desires.

I also like to go through my calendar, month by month and think through what activities, appointments, meetings, tasks gave me energy, and which drained my energy.

Once you have this context, it makes goal setting for the year ahead more intentional and informed, particularly for those of us with ADHD who often struggle to project future ambitions.

Set yourself up for success this year with a simple review process and see what comes up for you!
