I would not believe the advice in this video especially the Navigator. I had one and had nothing but trouble that could not be fixed. Buy Toyota that I switched to. No problems with Toyotas.

The CRV still has issues with oil dilution, leading to engine failures. The turbo six cylinders from ford are still questionable even with new models having the engines replaced. The Displacement on Demand from GM as far as I have heard is still a problem, causing engine problems.

The Toyotas in your line up are pretty accurate to be in this list. In my experience of owning Toyotas, they are built to last. All they need are regular maintenance and you are assured of at least 300, 000 miles.

The CRV will never last now that they replaced the 2.0L engine with that horrid oil diluting 1.5L engine coupled with rubber band transmission.

As a junk yard worker, I’ve seen a 96 4runner with 889k km and the engine was still working like a clock. It had severe rust and ended up in the junk yard.

The new models shouldn't be in this list. They are still unproven. The old Land Cruiser with the V8 gas or diesel engines are bullet proof, so is the old Seqouia. But the new twin-turbo hybrid V6s aren't proven yet. The models you should have posted should be 5yrs or older, not the new ones. Even the CR-V with the 1.5 turbo engine is problematic.

Top three SUVs if you really have to have one instead of buying a truck or a van: 1- Toyota 4Runner. 2 - Toyota Sequoia. 3 - Audi SQ7 as long as you take care of it.

The build strength of new toyotas is less than previous models. In my country, you'll find old model toyotas and defenders from 30+ years ago converted to towing vehicles in order to tow modern day SUVs when they breakdown.
