When I was writing a profile on the Tabasco company for one of my college-level business textbooks years ago, I called the company to request some background information. I almost fell off my chair when Paul McIlhenny himself answered the phone. We had a great conversation. What a terrific memory!

I like how the interviewer was actually invested and interested in the process rather than some boring newscaster interviewer and that’s really cool.

When your employees are this happy to be apart of something it's really special and extremy rare.

As a former member of the military - we really liked those tiny bottles in our MRE's - thanks guys

ngl, using a bridge when filling from one barrel to another is a pretty smart idea to prevent spills.

From someone who served as an EOD tech in the military for 12 years, I thank you Tobasco for those little bottles put in the MRE packs. Amazing.

I’m 31 and I’ve never been a fan of hot sauce but often like things with Tabasco in it so I just purchased my first bottle. It hasn’t left my dining table since it entered my home. Thank you for using glass instead of plastic for the bottle and for making such a great product.

“That was great, you just ate the whole thing.”

“Thanks, yeah, just wanted to show my commitment to the brand”

Response was glorious 😂😂😂

Fun fact I learned from another video about Tabasco. The barrels are actually taken from Jack Daniels after they used them for whiskey. Kinda surprised this wasn’t mentioned here.

I ate Tabasco sauce in MRE's at least once a week for 3 years in the Army. Here it is 10 years later and i still use Tabasco almost every meal of the day for my breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. One you get hooked, you can't stop.

Been to the Island. The tours are fun. And the Gardens are gorgeous. He was not just a hot sauce creator, he was a botanist and created some lovely gardens.

This clip makes me appreciate and respect Tabasco even more. Living in world of manipulation and deceit, it is comfortable to find out that there are still companies operating that work and stick to their old traditions and recipes. I am using Tabasco since the early 70's, and I feel even better now after watching this impressive and informative clip.

I'm from Mexico, and as a mexican, I've been used to taste all kind of hot sauces from organic to processed ingredients and Tabasco was always a good option. Since I remember, Tabasco was an escencial in the pantry of my family.

I lived few years in Argentina, back in the late 90s and very first years of the century and back then it was so hard to find hot sauce in the southern hemisphere. When a bottle of Tabasco popped-up, I just grabbed it like a treasure.

Legendary brand!!!

my mother used it when i was a kid, it was and is undeniably the same as it was 30-40 years ago. The logo, the bottle, the brand is something I always need, like salt and pepper. I pour Tabasco into almost everything. I also always have all the different flavors of Tabasco at home. The original is still the best. Yes, and my daughter (19) was the first to set up the Tabasco bottles in the empty kitchen of her new household and said "now it feels like home"💗🤭 generation to generation.. Tabasco is a fixed star, something that doesn't change in our fast-moving times. And I love this company for preserving history. Because it is also part of our family kitchen history...

This makes me appreciate tobasco, knowing it’s still being made by the same family and nothing has changed, they didn’t choose quantity over Quality

Yeah, I gotta say at 59 yrs old their Tabasco sauce is always consistent.
Not many other things maintain like that.
Thanks for that, and please keep it up!
