So, it is a 2-channel (stereo) amplifier with 4 parallel outputs. (channels of amplification). The problems I have with the circuit are the following: No fuse on secondary or primary transformer side. No chassis ground connection. No proper stretch relief on the mains cable. No protection against chafing from the chassis metal on the mains cable. The lack of fusing is the most serious problem.

its a 4 multi chanel stereo Amplifier, for 5.1, you need a circuit that makes a 5.1 division at stereo signal, or a digital processor that have 5 +1 outputs

Nice video, but this not a surround sound amplifier, the 5.1 decoder is missing, also using the 5 v supply from the same transformer output will give a beeping sound for the BT.

do you know what (5.1) surround system is ?
you have made amp but it will work as stereo.
1). you haven't install any any any low frequency filter for sub.
2). you have no option to give 5.1 signals as input, Bluetooth (USB, micro sd card, FM) only only support stereo (2.0)

It's not surround 8.1 but it's mono 8.1 (4ch stereo inside = 8 ch mono, and 1sub ch outside). If u want a 5.1 surround, u need: Front L, Front R, Surround L, Surround R, Center and 1 SUB

All you need to add 5.1 prelogic board and 4558 subwoofer circuit board to make it 5.1 amplifier .
This is only a 4 channel speaker system..

This is a stereo setup but with more output, you wont get surrounding effect like 5.1 or dolby, you will get experience like normal amp or headphones, if you use any 5.1 or 7.1 decorder then you can get the real effects

I suggest you introduce some protections: general fuse on the alternating network, fuse on each amplifier. antibump circuit and protection for direct current in speaker output. variable gain buffer on each audio input. check the diode bridge if it has a high peak current ...
with nearly 40, 000 microfarads of smoothing, you can't imagine the initial charge current… it's scary. optimizes charging with a slow charging circuit. the two voltage regulators do not have to work like this, they need two 0.1 microfarad capacitors connected in input and output and an inverted diode between output and input. .
between heatsink and power chip, it is better to use thermal paste. the convective motion of the air is wrong on the heat sink. regards.

just making 5 1 port surround sound amplifier, not processor. good for using latest computer audio output which is deliver 5.1 audio process, input from gaming motherboard or mini surround sound capable audio decoder. good idea, cost effective. But need to more watts for Sub Woofer out.
