You need to make a video comparing this against the Kraken x61 from NZXT. Can't find a single video or information about these 2 coolers being compared against eachother, many are curious aswell.

In quiet mode it's not loud. Though at 100% in real life it's much louder then it seems in this video. Thing sounds like a jet engine. Totally unusable at higher fan speeds if you have any plans of being in the same room as it.

My fans are running at 2300rpm all time. Its quite annoying sound so I guess it makes it %60 loud noise in this video or I don't know.

The way I listen to audio, it did not sound bad until full speed. Even then it wasn't too awful considering they are PVM. Do you have a noise level measuring instrument you could place in the frame? Even something like a decibel meter app could function for a ballpark range of loudness.

I have the same cooler for an overclocked i7 2600k at 4.6ghz and the fans get very loud when configured to keep the cpu temp below 72C while running Prime95.

The radiator is so big and the cooler so efficient that the fans will never run at 100% just leave it at 50% and it's good! ☺

Sounds like a jet taking off! Many people dislike the sound of Corsair motors/bearings which is a shame considering their customer service and build quality. I find the Fractal Designs 'Venturi' and NZXT 'FN V2' series to be quieter than these. Noctua seem to hum and tick at certain speeds so definitely not worth the price.

I have this in an Air540 case top mounted. When they have to go up to 100% They are much louder than this video shows, loud as hell! I just ordered noctuas NF-A14ippc-2000 PWM to see if this will help with the noise and maintain performance

Don't they advertise, max noise of 20 dBA or something?
