I just built a system with the same cooler. I use a custom fan profile to keep them near silent. Unless your overclock and voltages are high, you wont need to turn them up over 50%. Only time mine turn on full speed is if I am abusing my CPU with Prime 95.

As for your mounting, I THINK you can take that corsair plate off the radiator and turn it around so that it's not upside down (don't quote me on that, but you can try it). If so, then you can mount the rad with the cables going toward the right (front) as opposed to the left (back). I have my radiator mounted at the front of my case since my case has no top rad support so I didn't run into this issue.

spin it back around so the hoses are at the front then just spin the pump a little so the logo is right side up. this way you are not putting as much unnecessary tension on the hoses and fittings were the hoses conect to the pump and radiator. plus you do not want the hises moving and hitting/ stoping the exhast fan and you not realizing it till its too late.
