How To Properly Use A Brief For PROFESSIONAL DESIGNS

Today we design something from scratch using a brief. Follow along this design journey with me.

The brief is so fundamental to the graphic design process, and from that brief we can extrapolate a lot of useful information such as the target market and so on. As designers, we need to act a lot like detectives to generate ideas via research and study. This is the workflow method I use, and it's often very helpful when it comes to designing billboards for example, or any type of design for that matter!
The design process from brief to design, while using something like Milanote or other design tools to conduct research, is the only one that you will ever likely need.

I have to say, as the possible target audience of this brand, I wouldn’t be gravitated towards their brand by this. The combination of the black and pink created a feel that was a little cheap and slightly outdated that wouldn’t be promising if they’re selling fashion. That’s just my opinion of course. I do really appreciate your content and the amount of information you provide, it’s really admirable.

Love this type of video walking through an actual or conceptual brief or design from start to finish. I just think it seemed like the finished product had little readability on most of the information except for the brand name. I would have personally put the website name on the pink strip. Whenever I'm riding past a billboard, I never catch the small text.

Ppi trick.... Thats new for me.... I always use 300ppi and got my PC hang while saving file.

Great video. Would have liked to hear how you went from your completed design in Photoshop, to what was on the billboard mockup (model zoomed in). Also there were a few spelling errors on the screen about horizontal lines, just some feedback to pass on to your motion graphics person :)

My pet peeve with billboards is if they use tiny text. And the final version here is doing that.

*QUESTION:*
If we design a large poster in a small proportion like you've done here, won't it be pixelated when the print shops stretch it larger?
I mean its fine with SVG but what about raster images?

Kindly clear my confusion plz as i'm new to design and often struggle with this kind of problems as i cannot always find high resolution images to use in my designs.
