Ferrari 250 GTO starting engine

The 250 GTO model was the pinnacle of development in the 250 GT series in motorsport form, although the car still remained a road car. It was presented at Ferrari's annual press conference in January 1962, before the start of the motorsport season. It was the only front-engined car, while its model counterparts were single-seater or racing cars, all with rear engines.
