All in a city that has gone very soft on crime. Mayor, City Council, Prosecutors, Judges, all elected positions, perhaps we need to do better at the ballot box.

All of these people that are "demanding change" never seem to do what is REALLY needed. If you all arm up and train yourselves, these things CAN be stopped. But people always want a solution that doesn't involved any effort from themselves. Won't work.

Change begins in the home. Parent's need to be involved in their kids lives. Know what your kid's are up to. Know their friend's. Be a parent, not always their friend. You can be both. Teach love, empathy and respect. Teach and preach the sanctity of human life. Teach that even as young people, they can and will be held accountable. That their actions can have forever consequences. It's not easy being a parent and raising kid's especially as a single parent. I've guided 3 young men through this journey into adulthood. It WASN'T easy but love conquers all. Now they as adults in their twenties and are all are good people. I thank God for this and beg our communities to do more, starting in the home.
