I am currently courting an INFJ and this feels far from true for us. He actually loves my direct nature, and I can be my softer self with him. The inner romantic in me is in full throttle when we are together. He prefers for me to lead, and I love him supporting me. Now that I think about it, it works so well because I can effectively do the heavy lifting while he pours back into me.

Sorry this is utter nonsense. It might apply to very immature types but mature INFJ and ENTJ do not behave like this. The supervisor/supervisee dynamic shifts depending on context.

Best and only childhood friend for more then 15 years is ENTJ (Got all the anecdotal data for this pairing). It basically is close to as described in video.
With one thing missed, in this sort of relationship the power shifts the other way as well to an extent, and that is the supervisee's second function criticizing the supervisors 8th function. Fe in this case. But they turn to me in Ti matters as well, which Te doms surprisingly use very little of and need help in at times, in my experience.

ENTJ needed help and advice with Fe matters, making me (INFJ) as well feel as needing to hold his hand very often. It was this odd dynamic where he mostly acts like he's in charge, but then suddenly drops the act of being an authority and acts like the student any time he needs advice and help.

I have a similar dynamic with an ESTJ, it's like they put up a dominant authority act all until it's not a Te issue, when they completely change attitude to being vulnerable and asking for guidance.

I appreciate the very clear, honest signals in their behavior, showing that they know when they are good at something and when they are not.

Nope, dated ENTJs before and they do not act like that. I don’t know why people think that INFJs are these weak emotionally mushy people. INFJs can be incredibly controlling and excessively independent. INFJs and INTJs always are always trying to improve things, they don’t do that by getting bullied.

Not just this is a badly made video (is this AI??), but a few seconds in and I heard the terms "supervisor-supervisee" which is actually *Socionics* term for LIE and IEI.

Some might think LIE is always ENTJ and IEI is INFJ. But that is *not true*. LIE is not always ENTJ (it could be ENTP or ESTJ) and IEI is not always INFJ. So I don't buy this video.
