I am INFJ and my husband is ENTJ. We divorced at our 10th marriage anniversary. We simply did not understand each other that time, we got frustrated on each other and communication was quite hard. After divorce then we learnt our types, we accept and discuss them and the communication got waaay better, we re- establish our family goal (initially for the purpose of co-parenting then leads to our re-marriage 2 years later). Knowing the MBTI personality types really help us on how we create a better relationship 🥰

INFJ married to ENTJ for 29 years.
I stay on his nerves. He hates when I ask "what's wrong?" Now I know why. Because it has to do with feelings. Instead of saying have a good day, I say I hope you have a productive day.

God bless (healthy) ENTJs. They’re a force to be reckoned with.

im an INFJ and my boyfriend is an ENTJ... in the relationship, it’s me who gets frustrated the most because my emotional needs arent met. Im so expressive with my feelings but he isnt :( i want him to be transparent with his emotions even deep down i know that’s unlikely to happen. When im happy, it’s the best with him but when im being emotional as how INFJs are, he’s very bad at comforting. He never go deep in the feels as if like he’s afraid to go down there. Lately, ive always cried alone cuz i know he wont be able to satisfy my emotional needs. This is unhealthy yes but i love him :(

Honestly as an infj myself hanging out with an entj guy I can tell you it’s pretty obvious that they don’t have feelings and have a very business driven mind. Their opinions are extremely strong and even if they listen to yours they don’t value it as much since they consider themselves the most superior. The best solution is to be super blunt and honest with them. As an infj I have always compromised for my friends and family but with this guy, it feels foolish. You can like their company, but just be very clear about your boundaries. Say no when you don’t agree and tell them what you want and how you want it. That will make them respect you even more, and they will know that you’re not a push over. Over time if they can accept that dynamic then maybe consider going further. Because we are sensitive and we end up feeling much more, hence we need to be wary of who we are spending our valuable time and energy on.

I'm an INFJ and I love learning from my ENTJ bf. He loves to teach me as well. I sometimes feel he's lacking in providing me the emotional part, just sometimes. But being too emotional is a waste for a human being. So I learn to inclined to Facts and logic than emotions and feelings according to situations. I love my ENTJ man. Gotta learn a lot from him while teaching him what's needed.❤😅 He's always open to new lessons too. 🥰💗❤️

I like the video. I'm an entj, but I'm not a jerk. sounds like some folks are not understanding that we are just honest folks and If your giving that out to people in general anyway. entjs usually respond well. so just don't be fake, it'll help everything. keep it up!

My best friend is an INFJ empath and I am a ENTJ female. We respect each other and have learned to appreciate each other's strengths. i disagree with you description of a fear of FI. It is not a fear, it is that we do not value our subjective feelings as much when making decisions. She loves my TE and decisiveness. She knows how to stand up to me. I respect that.

I've actually found relationships with ExTJs really easy. My best female friend is an ESTJ and I just know there's no chance of going deep with her but probably this leverage is helpful for me, especially since I'm surrounded by INTPs and ENFJs. ENTJs tend to be much more nihilistic in nature, focusing on the negative outcomes in the future, but once you know how to be blunt and how to convey to any Te- dom, establishing and maintaining a relationship isn't that demanding.

This relationship sounds like torture.... I’m scared 😖 because I am falling for an ENTJ. I have not really seen this side of him yet though. I have only known him for a month. I haven’t opened up that much. And he seems considerate and does things with me that I enjoy.... I really hope it isn’t going to be this ~INFJ

You know, EXTJs are considered to be scary for other types, but I find it simple to communicate with them in some way. They have Fe blind spot, so I can numb all of my Fe work with them and just be straight, even rude. But they won't even consider it rude, because this is their communication style. I'm irritated by that sometimes, because I see how other people can be frustrated by them. But when I talk to them one by one I can chill in some way. In edition, I usually can see their insecurities (most of EXTJs are obvious in that), so I don't feel this kind of threat from them. Still unsure if I would date to EXTJ, but their interesting for me

Thank you very much with the advice you give in the video!! My mom is an ENTJ and she always wants me to confront and tell what's in my mind, but it's difficult for me to simply speak out what's processing in my mind. It's emotionally exhausting for me and I really hope our relationship can be more healthy. Thank you so so so much.

Helo, just a little insight. As an ENTJ it's not about being afraid of feelings it's more like knowing that feelings are extremely intensive for us and we tend to mess up things in terrible ways whenever we follow our feelings. Thank you for inspiring content

INFJ here. My friend's wife is ENTJ. The three of us hang out. And I've been constantly having this experience with her, which you're talking about in the video. I set up boundaries with her and she sometimes thinks I'm being sensitive. I can see how she's trying to manipulate my emotions and presents it like I have repressed feelings or something. Pisses me off tbh.

This video was tremendously help on how to deal with forceful people. I dislike it when people don't respect my boundaries, and appear to not care about how they impact me. It's feels like that should be common sense -- these forceful types forget. I noticed it is really hard to me to push back, or speak up when my space gets invaded. It used to be really bad when I was younger, I would cry because I felt helpless, and powerless. I suppose I just really low Se. I am certainly getting better at is, as I am getting older.

Wow! This explains so much about recent personality conflicts at my office. My work place is mostly the INFJ type, and we had a very strong ENTJ manager until very recently. This manager took the authoritative role, and all of the office's F types tried to counteract this with their feeling functions. They were viewed and treated as lazy and not progressive enough by the manager, so my co-workers just became more stubborn. They could not form an emotional bond and thus did not trust the manager. The manager did not get enough push back from my co-workers and ran over them. I like your recommendation to set boundaries in this kind of scenario. It might force a manager to have more respect for the contributions of their INFJ subordinates.

My husband is an ENTJ. The man believes he is comprised of facts. Feelings and intuition aren't tangible or measurable thus not valid. It's a challenge.
