mustang no v8

High HP per cylinder doesn’t mean it’ll be unreliable… Hondas are almost all 4 cylinders. The new GR Corolla is 100 HP per cylinder.

I had a 2024 rental ecoboost and honestly having it for those couple of days made me never wanna disrespect ecoboosts again. It was still hella fun

To us regular people that shit is nice

The last reason makes no sense. You have the base model. Of course you don't get any of the extras.

You’re living in the past if you think four cylinders can’t crank it out

Dude you sooo wrong, I've had my 2017 ecoboost since day one. I've got CAI and tuned with an x4 tuner, its got almost 200k still running strong, only issue I have here and there is a right rear caliper tends to seize up every couple of yrs and the not so great manual tranny syncro gears little whiny if you rest your hand on the shifter. It's been the most solid car ive ever owned, and ive smoked quite a few perps with it. Not to mention it doesnt break the bank on car insurance or gas. The exhaust and 100hp is no reason to go to a v8 unless you got money to burn lol.

I've had my 2020 Ecoboost for 40k miles, absolutely love it, and it has never been taken in for any issues, only standard maintenance. The interior is perfect, if you need a screen, get the premium model. I actually chose it on purpose over the GT because I get to look exactly the same, and not have cops hear me coming down the road from blocks away. You gotta be unbiased and think outside the box of pros and cons. It's fast as hell, super fun, everyone loves the styling. 5 sec 0-60 car with 32mpg.... I'll take it

The 2024 literally fixes the last two issues with the Ford performance valve exhaust and a refreshed interior and there ain’t nothin wrong with 300 hp on a Turbocharged 4cyl

Love that “how loud you can make it” is now an important (#2!) parameter. This is the new enthusiast. Save us.

He is right, that's why I settled on the "red headed stepchild" the Cyclone V6. Plenty of power, easy to wrench on and with headers and Borla exhaust sounds great.

It's actually not too bad of a motor, regular maintenance is just very important.

you can get an eco boost with leather and screen with the same interior as a 5.0. also my old eco boost had a borla x ford exhaust that sounded good

Man, I liked the v6 versions. Those were cool and worked really well for the community.

I thought he was joking until the end. The ecoboost is very good. Back in 2009 the GT had less hp than today's ecoboost so it is a pretty fast car

This interior is way better than 80% of all cars on the market lol, especially compared to GM and dodge😂

Eco boost engine is fine and a 4 cylinder can easily accommodate 100hp each. It’s a great engine and fast enough for most peeps too. Obviously it’s not going to sound as good as a V8 and many peeps still regard any mustang that’s not a 5.0 litre as sacrilege.

Those ecoboost can actually put down some serious torque if you know what you're doing with them. Get you a good intake and a full magnaflow straight through exhaust, high flow cat, upgraded diverter valve, better intercooler, colder spark plugs and bigger injectors and a good tune and have fun with close to 400hp

Funny thing the 2.3 liter ecoboost was designed by porsche and sold to ford, so the motor aint blowing up anytime soon
