EASY 10-SECOND LOW BUN (SLO MO)

A slow version of my 10-second low bun 💁‍♀️

Gather hair into a low ponytail and hold it with your dominate hand. Pull hair tie over ponytail just enough to create a mini loop. Place non-dominate hand inside elastic as you swoop the hand under the ponytail. Drive hand counter-clockwise as you collect the ponytail onto the elastic. Twist one time. Place elastic (currently wrapped with hair) over the mini loop you created in the first step. Voila! She’s cute and put together in less than 10 seconds.

Okay, so I have yet to perfect this, BUT I think for those who need explanation need to know that when she starts twisting the hair around, she holds onto it as shes twisting it instead of letting it flop around to twist. Another thing, notice shes got a hold of the ends with her thumb and her hair is kinda shaped like this --> ~

So while shes supporting the hair with her left hand and has the ends tucked with her right hand, shes pulling the right side over the left side and she's pulling the left side through the center of the right side. Then securing it.

for anyone trying this, make sure you have the right size for your hair tie!!! mine is too big so i just already have it wrapped around once my ponytail before i start with this technique

It actually comes out really easily (if you decide to take it out) while staying on sturdily and it the best looking bun I’ve tried. Even the buns I made mistakenly while trying to figure it out were 100x better than the buns I’ve made my whole life
