Pressurized beer transfers using Chronical fermenters.

Pushing beer from a conical fermenter into a keg with CO2 is easy, but proper steps must be taken in order to transfer beer safely under pressure.

Own a Chronical.  Would have loved an accessory option with all of the equipment listed above.  Have been working up a tri clamp T fitting with a valve and an air lock to let me dump trub without air contamination and also allow for pressurized transfers.  One batch of cider was enough

Where did you get the low digital pressure gauge from? I'm seeing the digitals anywhere from $80 on up.

Thanks for the video,   It was very detailed and explained everything.   I did this and the only thing I did different was I used a ball lock connect and sealed the keg with co2 before transferring into the dip tube the beer comes out.  I don't want any oxygen getting in and just leaving the lid open could expose it however minimal.

why not just do a full closed transfer?

Why is a pressurized transfer preferable to a gravity fed one?  e.g.  simply lift the Chronical onto a table a few few higher than the keg and let gravity do the work

Can you ferment under pressure like at 2 or 3 PSI

I never use the lid that came with mine. I always use the ftts lid because I live in Texas and it's hotter than the devil's asshole here. Is there a way to do this with that lid? Or should I just quickly switch lids when I'm ready to transfer? Or is it even worth it to do that? Thanks.
