Nevada DETR / PUA let me down again ....

Friday, 9/18: I spoke with a DETR/PUA Rep at the 81# and
informed her that I had uploaded the documents (front/back
of license & SSN card, banking info for direct deposit and a
statement that I have no utility bill to submit since my rent
includes all utilities) that the PUA Rep told me to upload yesterday.

She told me that there was a glitch in the system on Monday
and that the new monetary determinations ($331/week) and
change of my account status to "Active" that happened earlier
this week WERE A MISTAKE.

My appeal still hasn't happened and I will have to continue to wait.

Ugh!

Good new (sort of) about Nevada DETR / PUA:

Finally, 3 months after my PUA claim was disqualified by DETR (I appealed before AND after the appeal link was made available on July 18), I received an email from Nevada DETR on Saturday (Yes, SATURDAY). It was a "Notice of PUA Monetary Determination" for $181/week. Weird thing is that before my claim was DQ'd, I received the same notice but for $331/week! Well, at least it makes it seem as if they are working on the appeals now!

Maybe Trump's visit inspired the DETR office.

Now to follow-up and get it back to $331/week (the new document didn't show any quarterly income reports like the previous one did, thus the reason it only approved me for the minimum of $181). Allows a fly in the ointment!

Good Luck, Everyone!

I was one who as a gig worker applied for PUA, received payments then out of no where they stopped paying me. Then I get a letter stating I am not eligible and should try to file for regular unemployment. PUA is for gig workers regular unemployment is for the others with jobs that pay into So I appealed and DETR claims the case will be seen within 7-10 business days and that did not happen. This honestly is a disaster. I am now looking for a bankruptcy attorney I am not sure why the states leadership cant resolve this. Nevada AGAIN will be ground zero just like in 9/11 and 2008!! Such a bunch of crap!!!

What can the court actually do if the state doesn't comply? Is he going to fine the state and take money from one state account to be put in another? The whole legal process with this is absolutely retarded. I feel for the people actually expecting to get the court to help.
