Why do people feel the need to cancel out 100% of the noise? I used pro2 and 4anc and honestly having the anc is a plus in itself and if you are someone like me even a 50% reduction is great. Plus it gives you a sense that the source is there and keeps you aware especially when you are out of your house.

I had both anc and pros. The key difference for me was on the highs. The anc model was too sharp and had some distortion. I had to make sure that the sound limit was on to avoid it. If you ask me AirPods Pro 2 are on sale and are cheaper. No brainer.

For anyone trying to decide which ones to buy, I would also suggest that if you fly frequently to definitely go with one of the ANC options. I love how well my AirPods Pro 2 block out jet engine noise when flying. They also do a phenomenal job at reducing the engine noise from my riding mower when I mow the yard and I’m able to enjoy my music.

I just upgraded from AirPods 3rd Gen to the normal 4rth gen. And it’s sooo good. The mic is better and now the bass is better and the fit doesn’t hurt my ear!

Love my pro 2’s. Except I own the original lightning version while every other device I own is type c. Waiting for my lightning pro 2’s to die to upgrade to a type-c model but they just won’t die 😂. They’re too damn good.

I recently got the Pro 2 upgrading from my 3 year old Pro 1 and the changes were so noticeable! I loved it to the point I use my airpods more than my XM5.

Glad I did my research and didn't settle for Apple ear buds. I went with Sony WF-1000XM5. Best headphones I've ever owned, blows the airpods out of the water in every single aspect.
