The idea that men are 'threatened' by successful women is a fallacy which people seem naively to accept.
I suspect its roots lie in successful women who are abrasive, unpleasant, egotistical etc., and need a justification for their own unpopularity.

90% of “successful” women wouldn’t even a notice a guy who wasn’t at least as successful as her.

You can be a successful woman and still be feminine. The problem arises with women who adopt a masculine demeanor—they often bring that masculine energy home as well. It’s not that men are afraid; rather, men want a woman at home, not another man.

I could care less if the woman would be more successful than me on the financial and clout front. More power to her I say. To uphold my end of responsibilities and adopt some masculinity, instead of mooching off of her like a pathetic child, I'd be the manager of how the money and resources should be best used and negotiated together. The dilemma is that such successful women have to look past their material successes and notice the men that aren't as materially successful but have great values and morals... and more often than not, they don't and focus far too much on material status than moral status, and that is a substantial societal problem. This is why we need to stop pushing away God in our lives. He sets things in balanced order and helps us to lend a hand across the moral divide through the Holy Spirit.

Imagine how women felt back in older times where there only outlet for success and life path was to marry a husband. Boy have times changed, if only men have gone through what our female ancestors went through where yheir only path of life eas get married and have children, imagine how it would frel to men to have their freedom taken away and other opportunities taken away
