In this video, I describe every part of the thoracic region that's included in the anatomical torso model. Mammary glands, lactiferous ducts, areola, pectoralis major, sternum, costal cartilage, ribs, intercostal muscles, lungs, trachea, bronchi, heart, atria, ventricles, coronary arteries, auricles, esophagus, thoracic duct (and connection to the subclavian vein), veins (azygos, hemiazygos, accessory hemiazygos), and nerves of the mediastinum.

-----
‼️ CORRECTIONS:
1) There are 5 total false ribs, 2 of which are floating. I mentioned 3 of the false ribs, then the 2 floating ribs, without clarifying that the floating ribs are also considered false ribs.
2) What I labeled the "accessory azygos vein" is actually called the "accessory hemiazygos vein."

Hey so a quick question about the model. So I am a student currently learning about the abdomen and thorax and I am following your channel because of the great presentation and concise explanations. I was wondering about some non standard depictions in your model from All Axis. What caught my eye is that the fissura obliqua and fissura horizontalis on pulmo dexter do not meet which is strange for me to see I am aware that this is a possible variation. Also on our cadavers and in our textbooks the order from superior to inferior in the right lung is bronchus arteria vena and in the left arteria bronch vena which does not seem to be consistent with your model.

I'm a C4 - C6 incomplete...however, my C3 is affected as well. What is it called when you take deep, involuntary breath...it almost sounds like a hiccup? I know about paradoxical breathing, but it only occurs now and then and sounds like someone on a vent. Is that an involuntary diaphragm spasm?

So your injury is the L4/L5 intercostal nerve? Right? The spinal cord ends around L1/L2.
