7 Cervical vertebrae
12 Thoracic vertebrae

Thanks for making science simple, your videos are so easy to understand.🙏😊
I have a doubt, ribs have 2 articulation surfaces dorsally, then why 3 costal facets??

good morning sir I am Aniket mishra from India I am pursuing my bachelors in physiotherapy (1st year ) I have a question related from thoracic vertebrae . There are two demi facets presents on each side ( lateral side ) of thoracic vertebrae in which the upper part of head of 2nd ribs articulate with inferior demi facet of T2 and lower part of the head of the 2nd rib articulate with superior demi facet.of T3 is then why this rule/ way not work in 10th ribs 11th ribs 12th ribs and whats the articular surfaces of these vertebrae?
