I'm honestly stuck in my rental situation. We walked right into an LLC, where it's a weekly rental. They advertised it as a "1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment". They then claimed it was an efficiency apartment. However, we were only provided with a mini fridge, and a microwave. The unit next to us has a kitchen, and so does a single unit upstairs. I've seen "efficiency" apartments with full kitchens. We do not have drinkable running water, the only running water we have is in our bathroom, where I must do my dishes next to my toilet. I am also suspicious of them turning the "outbuildings" into "motel rooms", as this used to be a motel setting before. I have today myself saw workers moving a TV into one of the rooms, along with a bed. What is this? What is OUR unit? I feel there is a very broad line between "apartment" and "motel". Our unit would be an apartment if it had a kitchen, but they also could have gotten away by a sliver if they had provided us with a bed, a TV, and the fridge and microwave we already have, and called it a motel room. I need help. Like bad. We've had sewage leaks, from the upstairs toilet and bathtub. We were so dumb to walk into this place, and I frankly don't know what to do other than what I'm doing now-trying to educate myself and suit up.
