looks like that planet could use some freedom

Why don't they just add jets on mars to push it closer to the sun, allowing for it to be habitable. Scientists have no idea what they're doing SMH

Alpha/Proxima Centauri have always been a mainstay for many science fiction books out there, sending generation/colony ships to our nearest star.

What a stunning coincidence it just has gotten a bit more realistic now.

I will believe NASA more if they stop it with the CGI work! people don't know that but NASA has one freaking graphical and animation team that could easily beat Hollywood movie! how can we fully trust them when they hire animators like crazy!

Maybe if we didn't waste so much money on making hoverboards and shitty video games we'd already be their.

Explorable in the future? 400 light years away? So if we sent a robot flying at the speed of light to that planet, we'd get there in 400 years... that's the future alright

why people still use the word sun when talking about stars.

proxima b is in a different time era. If it's 4.2 light years away then it's probably just us but in another life and era. Outer galaxies are so far away that distance isn't even a measurement anymore. So that just leaves us with time, meaning the gap in between galaxies isn't distance and therefore is technically not even a gap. It's just like this endless space of time. Basically a time machine. This makes sense since the universe never ends and its inhabitants including humans reincarnate into another life while everything still continues to evolve.

I just love how the title says confirmed inhabited planet found but then the first words say may have found which is it

Welp, they either screwed up the definition of "Confirm" or "Habitable", since they've yet to confirm any water of atmosphere.
