If you’re building any kind of Excel based dashboard or interactive report it’s probably going to include Pivot Tables and you’re probably going to need to apply filters to those Pivot Tables. That’s where Slicers come in useful.

But at the same time, you’re probably going to want to protect the Dashboard sheet. The problem is that when worksheet protection is enabled, the Slicer buttons stop working. In this video I’ll show you how to fix this problem.

I have never seen this slicer option to disable resize and move. This is a great functionality. Many thanks for sharing! I wonder if it is also a thing for other objects - shapes/charts etc. I am running Windows and can't see it anywhere.

Is it possible to disable right click option of slicer?
Because by clicking the right click slicer can be modified or deleted by mistake.

Had figured this out but when i share the Dashboard it comes up with a message saying the Web App does not support slicers or Form controls?
