Finally a REAL Lexus video from Kirk back to his roots! Never seen a luxury withOUT ML audio. Just because its an option for it doesn’t mean dealership allocations come without it. Just like the “base” GX… I spoke to 4 Lexus dealerships. Some never seen them ever, one seen two in 8 years…

This is a very important vehicle. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. You’ll never find one as reliable ever again! These V6 turbo 10 speed piles of garbage will not hold up like this… this entire time everyone was focusing on why Lexus wasn’t the latest in terms of technology and advancements, one in reality that’s what you should’ve been focused on is that they are NOT doing that. If it works and is reliable don’t change it.

The GX looks great especially lifted with some nice off-road wheels and tires. I think 2023 is the perfect model year since it has all the reliable and now comes with an updated infotainment with Apple CarPlay.

Enjoy Santa Barbara!!! Just got back from Hawaii myself. Still thinking about a GX, not sure because I do enjoy new tech and not biggest fan of grill. Just sold 2004 GX and still have 2014. Will depend if I have to purchase another Venza for my other daughter. I think GX goes back further than 2004, I remember looking at 2003 model and might be a 2002 model but not sure. I still like the way rear door opens up. Scotty Kilmer just did a video Best suv ever made …starring GX.

Had a 2010 gx. Sold it and bot new 2014 gx. Surprised no one caught onto this model until recent several years..best suv out there imho but too small. Make it bigger!

Getting rid of their 6 and 8 cylinder engines is one of if not the biggest mistakes Lexus has made in recent years. Twin turbo/hybrid tech for just a few more mpgs makes zero sense while compromising reliability and driving comfort.

I currently own a 2004 Lexus GX 470 with 298, 000 miles on it. I will be factory ordering a 2023 GX 460 Luxury Edition as soon as they are available to do so, which the dealer I intend to use says is Nov-Dec, 2022.

I am definitely going to miss the 1UR-FE's sound when you first start it up, I really loved that sound. Hopefully the next gen won't have that mouse pad controller which I wasn't (and still am not) a fan of to this day.
