5 EASY SUMMER SIDE DISHES | NO HEAT SIDE DISHES |THE SIMPLIFIED SAVER
Hey guys! In today's video I am sharing with you my favorite easy summer side dishes. These recipes are very easy and super tasty for summer parties and bbqs! I hope you enjoy these no heat summer side dishes. :) thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!
BROCCOLI SALAD
6-8 cups of broccoli florets
1 red onion
1 cup of dried cranberries
1 cup of sunflower seed kernels
1 cup of reak bacon bits
1-2 cups of mayo
1 cup of shredded cheese
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
-begin by cutting up your broccoli into small pieces. add in the chopped onion, bacon bits, cheese, bacon bits and sunflower seeds. pour in 1-2 cups of mayo into the mixture and sprinkle with the ACV. mix the ingredients together well and enjoy after chilling in the fridge for a few hours.
RANCH POTATO SALAD
2 lbs of yellow baby potatoes (or your own choice of potatoes)
1 cup of green onion
1 cup of shredded cheese
1 cup of real bacon bits
1/4 cup of ranch dressing
-begin by washing your potatoes and boiling them on the stovetop. boil the potatoes until soft BUT NOT until mushy. you want the potatoes to still have a shape. cut the potatoes into small bit sized pieces and add in the rest of the ingredients. mix together well and enjoy warm OR chill in the fridge for a few hours and eat cold.
TEXAS CAVIAR
2 cans of black beans
1 can of black eyed peas
1 can of corn
3-4 bell peppers of assorted colors
1 red onion
2 roma tomatoes
1 bunch of cilantro
1 lime
1 italian dressing jar
salt and pepper to taste
-begin by draining the beans and corn into a colander and rinse with water. add into a bowl with the italian dressing. cut the lime and squeeze the juice into the bowl. rinse the cilantro and the vegetables. chop the vegetables into small pieces and add into the bowl with the other ingredients. mix the ingredients together well and chill in the fridge for a few hours. eat as is or enjoy with tortilla chips.
GREEK PASTA SALAD
1 lb pasta
1 cup of cherry tomatoes
1 cup of sliced black olives
1 cup of sliced green olives
1 red onion chopped
1-2 handfuls of spinach
1 cucumber
1-2 cups of greek dressing
-begin by boiling the pasta and pouring into a large bowl. throw in the spinach and the greek dressing. cut the cherry tomatoes, onion, and cucumbers into small pieces and slice the olives in half. add the vegetables into the bowl and mix together well. chill in the fridge for a few hours and enjoy cold :)
