I remember the Snake and Joe Amato and who can forget Don Garlits and many others from that era... I used to live about twenty minutes from Joe Amato back in Pennsylvania and met him more than once...

Totally awesome. I was in John Force pits and his motor home one day and visiting with him and his daughter's when they were very very young and I told him I had been watching him for years and cheering for him and I was wondering if he could introduce me to someone and I told him who it was and I was standing outside under John's roof and someone tap me on the shoulder and said ( I understand you wanted to meet me) guess who it was the( Snake) Don Prudhomme. I will never forget that day and couldn't thank John Force enough

As a life-long Snake fan from So-Cal I am so proud of Capps ( even if he is racing that foreign car 😂 ) for paying Snake back for believing in him back in 97, I'm sure Snake is very flattered by all this paying homage to him, well deserved in my opinion 🙏 Now someone step up & do the same for Big Daddy! 😉
