Our planest does it's sun orbit at about 67, 000 mph, Mercury's would likely be in the 80, 000 mph+ area. Us: 365.25 rotations/year, Mercury: 88 of our rotations. :>)

An item for thought: Some scientists believe Mercury used to be a lot larger, and over the eons its atmosphere and outer surfaces were stripped away. What we see now is thought by some to have been the outer and inner core of a much larger planet.
