Given that Padme was unaware of what was going on in the temple at the time. The most likely person to sent those Naboo troops is JarJar.
This means Grogu was saved by both of Ahmed’s characters.

I like that Grogu isn’t portrayed as just a baby in scenes like this. He’s cognitive enough to understand what the Armorer is telling him about the forge and he feels deeply sad, remembering his past

He was but the greatest Jedi.

Head canon: the four Jedi were “assistant youngling teachers” to Kelleran and made an on the spot plan to evacuate younglings, specifically Grogu. Grogu was the only one since the other younglings were either executed or with other Jedi (master velti for example). Seeing the dead Jedi at the elevator, Kelleran made an on the spot decision to escape with Grogu while he could.

I know it's Palpatine and his order 66 plan, but it is still something to behold how ruthless those clones were to fire gunship cannons into the city, into buildings to try and bring down the jedi

Ahmed had some cold moves, man. I'm so happy for him that he finally has a role that doesn't involve goofily tumbling around like a clown, even though I always liked Jar Jar.

If you saw the very emotional interview with Ahmed Best where he speaks about how he was thinking about suicide for all the hate he got for the role of Jar Jar and then making him this epic Jedi who saves our beloved Grogu from order 66 warms my heart so much.

A part of me wonders what Kelleran would think if he managed to survive the 30 years or so to see Grogu with Mando. I'm sure on some level he may be disappointed that he isn't training to be a jedi, but at the same time I think he'd be happy to know that Grogu has found a family to belong to and is thriving.
