I think Ahmed Best’s performance in this episode was what we needed. It didn’t have to be a major character. Literally, anyone could have saved Grogu. I am glad that Ahmed Best came back and gave an awesome performance!

For me? I loved Jar Jar, especially his arc with Windu. How many people like Binks will go out of their way to save their girlfriend from an ancient evil prophecy?

It wasn’t a “redemption” that implies he did something wrong, Ahmed didn’t do anything to deserve the hate and harassment he received. He was an actor doing his job! This is him getting the love he has always deserved

Correction - Kellerin didn’t have two lightsabers until Grogu’s elevator appeared with the dead jedi on the ground of it. Kellerin picked up that dead jedi’s lightsaber there when he grabbed Grogu.

I was happy when I saw who save Grogu. Then I realized how great it was that an unexpected Jedi Master rescued the child. If Star Wars is going to present itself as a complete universe then we need to see a larger variety of characters.

Kelleran Beq's an absolute beast in that same scene with the dual sabers, and I'm still not over that scene since then.

I NEVER HATED HIM OR JAR JAR, they're my favorites since day one, and it is fucked up that the fans nearly drove him to suicide, but he survived thanks to real life martial arts training he partook in.

I think his own lightsaber is just the green one. He picked up the blue saber from the jedi that died in the elevator.

I never "hated" JarJar...I just thought he was goofy. I am super stoked to see the story of Jedi Master Kelleran and his adventures with Grogu!

he doesn't use 2 lightsabers, he picked the other blue one up from a dead jedi. He only wields one, but we know he is capable of wielding 2.

Ahmed Best said in an interview (can't remember where) that Kelleran is/was essentially the Dean of the jedi temple, so i guess you could say he's high ranking, or at least highly respected
