I was on I-95 near Alexandria and watched 6 vehicles pull onto the highway, arrange themselves across the 3 lanes 2 deep, then come to a complete stop. They sat there in front of me and the rest of the drivers for like 10 seconds, then accelerated and got off the next exit ramp. When I got home, the traffic news was saying there was a massive traffic jam on I-95 outside of Alexandria that had caused several collisions and 2 fatalities. I’d call it terrorism if they had made public demands before doing it.

Problem is, that you have "special " people that think you're leaving a following distance to allow them to cut you off because they're too busy on their phones to pay attention

God I wish more people understood this, I always find myself having to drive slow behind traffic so I don't have to keep stopping, only way to clear the phantom traffic

Also, don't pull up all the way behind the car in front of you when you stop at a light, because if you keep some distance, both you and the person in front of you can immediately start accelerating at the same rate when the light turns green. If you don't, then you have to wait for the first person to create a gap before you start because you only feel comfortable moving when there's a gap ahead.
