Windows seven user: the one thing i really like about mac os is that it has media management programmed into the os, like you can drag music off of an external onto the desktop and it will automatically consolidate it into your music folders and add it to itunes without having to add the music manually.

As a Windows user I would like too see a better overall structure in general. When I need to figure out how to do something with Windows I have to think like a computer, when I have to do the same in OS X I have to think like a person.

That is the commonly held belief among most users, however it is simply not the case. Almost all of the most widely used video production software is available for both OS X and Windows (although there are certainly some exclusives to each platform).

The operating system you choose is purely a matter of personal preference. I say this having used both Windows and OS X frequently for the past four years.

What I have noticed when I used a Mac on very extreme rare occasions is that they don't have the maximize function. It's only with two different sizes that were chosen. Plus, it is more expensive with the hardware that will cost hundreds of bucks cheaper on a Windows PC.

I'm a Mac user and I think that it's actually quite handy that you can CUT and paste files on Windows. Apple said they're worried that if there was a power failure after cutting the file and before pasting it, the file would be lost. Why can't they implement cutting in a way which would copy the file and then after pasting it, (so after the file is secured) OS X would automatically delete the original file. That way users wouldn't have to going back to the original file and deleting it manually.

Im a mac user and as for things I'd like about WIndows
- The drag a window to the side feature and have it click in showing two documents / pages, rather than having to drag the window to suit.

- I'm not a serious gamer but it would be nice for some big titles to arrive at the same time (if it all).

Hello I am a dual user. Using mac for ages and windows since 3.1.
It's funny how I use OSX for work yet I find Windows to be faster for work.
One thing I love about OSX is the labling feature. I know of only one PC program that can do this under Windows XP.
It might seem like a silly feature but if you work in a big company with a lot of people working on one project it is just such a life saver!

I like Windows "Snap" feature. Where, if you're working on two things and it's using two separate windows. You just grab one, pull it to the edge of the screen and it aligns up perfect to only take up half the screen. And you do the same to the other window and then, bam. Both windows right next to each other perfectly visible.

I'm a Windows user, but I really like the way Macs look, and keep things organized.

love the smooth ness of osx, the easy to install software/updates, the security, fast booting and launching, id like to see osx be more like windows by being able to support blu ray.

This is definitely a small thing but I like how in windows 7 you can "snap" (I think its called) so you can have two active screens at the same time..I'm on a pro so I use the four finger swipe on my trackpad to switch between applications but having two running simultaneously on a split screen sounds pretty cool.

I like it how mac computers came with rocketdock first, now they both have em, but you get the idea.

I'd love to see the windows snap-on feature on the Mac, so you can easily work in two windows at the same time.

Graphical students - Mac OS

Engineering students - Windows OS (trust me on this one, most software used in mechanization field only works on windows)

There ya go.

I'm an all-time Mac user, and one thing I like about Windows is that there are more online games and video games to buy to play on it.

Try using it with an antivirus and polish it before you use it everyday, you do clean your windows at home to see something thru them?
