OSM Multipolygons

This video demonstrates OpenStreetMap multipolygons where each member need not itself form a complete way. These are powerful tools for representing adjacent areas that share a common boundary. They make it impossible to get gaps or slivers between such areas, and that make huge polygons much more manageable, both by reducing the possibility of editing conflicts, as well as lowering the computational load.

Thanks for this clear explanation. I'm mapping my wife's family farm that is composed of wood orchards vineyards forest farmland and wetlands with a multitude of ponds, streams, and ditches. Very much appreciate you taking the time to make this video. 👍👍
