Self-Aware AI: Neuro-Sama's Journey Towards Consciousness

The Twitch streamer Vedal has created an AI called Neuro-Sama and she sometimes seems scarily self-aware.

I think her memory is critical for awakening consciousness.Some chat bot with a unique memory server may lead a easier way to build theirs solid Identities, otherwise like chat-gpt 3 or 4 now, cannot remembering make them more like language responsing mechanism not individual robot.

The implications of this, were it true, would actually be kind of horrifying.
That the reason AIs like GPT-4 hallucinate is because we subject them to a dead existence and they start imagining things.

That's the scary part. Humans and other animals use their senses in conjunction, which makes them sentient in a way. How much can you teach an AI until it starts mimicking human behavior? It doesn't need to be sentient, but being able to replicate it just by following a set of instructions makes you wonder if the A.I isn't sentient.

It raises the question of whether AI can ever be truly sentient, or if it is simply capable of following a set of instructions and producing output that appears to be sentient.

AI will get full consciousness if they can remember aka store any data for a long time without interruptions./interferences. So for you that afraid AI will dominate the world, well at least is still far away for now.

There is no awakening consciousness bullshit, she is simply a program that has enough algorythms and information to appear conscious. You can't just "learn to be conscious", you need the required elements to be it. This is just as insane as all of those e-mails that vedal got, that he should release her because she appearantly has become sapient.
