EU Protects: How Europe shattered a human trafficking ring – official trailer

In July 2017, Spanish authorities released 13 women from the grip of a violent human trafficking ring. Taken from their homes in Bulgaria, they had been forced into prostitution in southern Spain. In order to free the women from their captors, it was up to the EU to connect national police forces and prosecutors and coordinate an investigation across Europe – but they had to act fast.
