Demographically the birthrate is on the up-trend all over Europe and Germany's real fertility rate is really 1.6 according to the Max Plank institute (1.6 in West Germany and 1.8 in East Germany), instead we should provide more incentives for people to have children-A national childcare system, full maternity leave, a baby-bonus etc. this is what is needed, immigrants won't solve Europe's demographic problems, only families who have 2-3+ children will.
