You just told me to do what Windows said NOT to do. It said *DON'T* turn off your computer!!!

I'm 75 years old and not a nerd.

But anyway, even though I was SCARED STIFF, I did what you said, held the power switch down for 15 seconds, then waited for about 30 seconds, then turned it on like normal, and the screen said _"Please Wait, updating your computer."_
Then the little dotty circle thingy started going round and round and round . . ad infinitum.

Then it said "Working on updates 94%complete (etc), Dont turn off your computer."

Then it said Cleaning up 100% complete, DONT turn off your computer." and the little dotty circle thingy went round and round and round for *ever*

Then suddenly it said *"Welcome"*
