Hi there! The workflow that I've been using in the practices in the stop motion company was the following:
-They gave us the storyboard.
-I asked how many frames should every take be around.
-Then planned the hole thing in a paper with poses and the estimated frames.
-Finally I start to animate with a character and Dragonframe.

Some of my mates decided that was a good idea to start without planning. The result was that my shots were fine at the first try and they had to reshot them. So I always prefer to plan a head at least a minimun and have the key poses clear.

Have to say I expected a more in-depth discussion on different popular workflows that are used by experienced animators. It stayed too much on the surface for my taste. Thank you for taking the time to create all this amazing content though!
