Many people claim to be born-again Christians but live their life contrary to Biblical principles.
James 2:19-20 there is more to being a Christian than just acknowledging that Jesus is the Son of God. We need to put faith in Jesus and accept him as your personal Savior. Matt 7:21
True Christianity differs from all other religions in the world because all other religions require the person to do a work to be accepted by God.
Jesus paid the debt that we owed and if we accept his gift, then we will be saved. Christianity is the only religion that has a Savior. It isn’t about what we do for God but what God did for us thru Jesus!

So a changed life Is evidence someone is saved? But not always because some people will still struggle with addictions.. you said salvation is making a commitment to Christ. No salvation is a gift given by God's grace thru faith in the gospel. You seem to contradict yourself you say it's faith alone then say your commitment to Christ is salvation. In this video I hear you speak grace then turn around and say a man is saved or obtains salvation by his commitment to Christ. It's quite confusing
