Ok, just to remind you that Spanish is HARD and anyone who studies or attempts to speak it in public has my respect. So in all fairness I'll give Meghan that - I respect anyone who embarks in a language learning journey so I don't find it appropriate to make fun of anyone at any stage of learning. So I'm doing this only for entertainment purposes only, just in case!

I don't care what language she speaks she talks down to the people she is talking to. He voice and her actions are snobbish and condescending.

A speech can be memorised, not a conversation. If she's fluent in Spanish she would be conversing in Spanish with the people of Columbia but that didn't happen. what a LIAR!!!

Apparently she said she spoke fluent French as well. Someone spoke to her in French and couldn't answer them because she said she had forgotten it.

Why boast to the world that you speak fluent Spanish, then tell your audience your Spanish is not fluent, why oh why does she tell such whopping lies

I speak Spanish and I can tell you it's easy to memorise a few sentences of very easy, obvious phrases. It's IN CONVERSATION that we are challenged. When someone asks a question, off script, that we have to respond to, this is the test: the tenses and grammar are key.. it's easy to talk in the present tense and be prepared for a little speech of a few sentences that she has memorised. Yes, I agree with Roguie about the Argentine accent! It's NOT! This woman is the most ghastly false character ever put before us. It just gets worse and worse and I wonder how they continue to trot out and proclaim themselves as interested in anything but money grabbing for themselves. Megan adores herself.

If she claims she is fluent in Spanish, read write and speak, people expect you to converse in a Spanish speaking country but the ONLY time she does speak, it looks like she’s being fed lines through her earphones… proving she lied again again!!

Sorry I can't stand Harry's Wife voice in any language. The clapping sounds like there's one person leading it and a few others joining in. This trip is so contrived and controlled. How she laps up the applause and attention is so very thirsty. I'm not surprised she could not make it in the Royal Family. With them t's all about service, with Harry's Wife it's all about her. She's shameless. To travel to one of the poorest countries and use it as an ego trip and for her own vanity is even more disgusting. Heard this cost the country 2 million dollars. Why? The VP has defiantly and truly been Markled.

Both my parents were born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I speak with that accent and she is NOT speaking the Argentinian accent! My maternal grandparents were born in Spain. She is trying to mimic accents but is failing. Speaking different languages, I am very good at picking up accents. She s just incredibly FAKE!

I would say that was a prepared speech which she memorized and practiced, because when she was in Canada standing next to Michael Buble's wife during the Invictus preparations, who is from Argentina, the woman tried to speak to her, and she responded by saying she didn't speak Argentinian.
