WOW! Thank you for doing what you do and bringing the philosophy of stoicism to the forefront. Journaling helped me get out of the darkest stretch in my life. I Initially got into stoicism when I was overcoming my addiction to cocaine and alcohol. I strayed away from it for a while, but I came back. It was the best move I ever made.

When my son was about 10-11 I was upset about litter on both side I saw on this new road in our town. I asked how he felt about it. His response was genuine, why can’t people leave things to stay beautiful or be so lazy to throw out their car windows. So we made a plan wake up early on a Saturday and gather trash and recyclables. The day came and he was feeling embarrassed. Pulled his hoody over his head. But as we progressed down the road. People slowed down, honked their horn, said out load. “Good job kid!” Or “Thank you !” . He realized that day his impact of being a good example. ……. One last thing, I’m because NYNY 22. I have been sitting on an idea about starting a anti-litter movement, campaign (still need to flesh out title) regardless. One of my models ironically was Texas ( I don’t live there) Years ago they started a Anti-litter campaign “Don’t Mess With Texas”.

There's a beach along the Potomac River that my oldest daughter (12) and I go to to meditate, and next time we go we're bringing bags and gloves and picking up all the trash!

I have been picking trash for years and I did it this morning as well.
I am an eco-volunteer and i am into environmental education in my working life as well, so i devote lots of my energy
to taking care of the Planet in many different small ways
and to taking care of the young generation
to make them care, love, be curious, be amazed and respect their immediate sourroundings as well as the entire Planet.
I believe that,

... A lot of people do good deeds. What gets me, is that too many of them choose only good deeds that others can see them doing, so that their goodness will be evident, and they will gain respect.... Steve Gaskin said that real morals is taking care of the energy when no one is looking.
