Good call on Chrome OS. Also need support for DisplayPort Alt mode via USB-C which Google deliberately disables on Pixel devices despite them having USB 3.2 ports.

Resizable floating windows have been a part of AOSP since Android 7. The fact that Google still doesn't integrate this functionality into the native UI is bizarre. "Pop-up" windows on the Z Fold are super useful and with OneUI 5.1.1 on the Fold 5, they work exceptionally well.

I'm with you Jordan on taking a screenshot (4:40). When I first got my Pixel Fold became a hassle until I set my "Quick Tap" gesture to taking a screenshot as well.

There’s a hidden desktop mode under developer options. I haven’t tried it but I see the option under developer settings.

Would you consider doing a video for a "wishlist" for Pixel fold 2? I have a 7 pro and I'm passing on the 8/8 pro this year in hopes that the fold 2 brings enough improvements to buy my first foldable. My first wish list item, skip tensor 3 for fold 2 and go right to tensor 4. I hope to see this video. Thanks!

There is a simple screenshot mode. Go to settings, system, gestures, quick tap to start actions, enable quick tap, and select screenshot. You can now tap the back of your phone to take a screenshot.

2:51 you can force fulscreen in app settings (it's experimental), anyway for default it's not resizing for some reason

The first point sounds like something fixable by using "split screen launcher".

It's not an actual launcher, but it lets you create combined icons in your home screen that can open multiple apps at the same time already split (eg: YouTube + Chrome)

I don't case if this doesn't have dex competitor, it can only be brought in via software update of the device has the capability.

I think the reason there is no dex competitor on pixels is because it can't. My pixel 6 pro used to get extremely hot doing the most basic tasks like web browsing, imagine if it had to run desktop style software? It'd explode

I'd love to get a pixel, but not getting double tap to wake/sleep from the default launcher is a dealbreaker for me. All the other things I could deal with, but this is so dumb.

These suggestions are good, but they would take away from having a cohesive product line in an attempt to mimic other brands. Also, having ChromeOS ability could cannibalize their Chromebook sales.

can you make a pixel fold "power user" (multitasking) video cos honestly I feel this device is OVERHYPED 🙄 especially by americans, considering that foldables are meant for those who want to multitask "power use"
