The way (only) Clint Eastwood’s character is sporting a perfect pompadour in the 1840’s or 1850’s cracks me up to begin with, but what’s even better is the fact that it never once appears oily, dirty, greasy, unkempt, or outgrown throughout the entire movie, which (I’m pretty sure) takes place over a full year. 😂

Still think back on this and wonder why Eastwood and Marvin were cast for this film. Both great and legendary actors. But. Neither one has a very good singing voice. Not a bad movie if you like slightly strange musicals.
