Nespresso double flash fail fix

How to fix your nesspresso flashing and not making coffee.

Nothing worse than wanting a coffee and your pos denies you with a double blink red orange death flash - this is the fix. And you wont waste a pod.

Also if you dont know - 3 quick button pushes within 2 seconds will run a flush cycle - put a big bowl under spout and fill water and make sure there is not a pod in machine - it will clean out small grounds to help avoid future clogs.

Try this. It worked for me.
Step 1. Do a factory reset: Close the head.
Leave the lever in "UNLOCKED" position. Push the button 5 times within 3 seconds. The button will blink slowly 5 times to confirm reset is done.
Step 2. Unplug the machine and plug it back in.
Somehow this solved the problem.

The drain tubes plug up with old coffee juice. Dries out and creates blockages. Then the juice gunk backs up into the brewing reader lenses. Machine cant read. Flashing orange light. No go coffee. I dismantle and clean the machine and the reader assembly. Works

2 blinking organge lights means it needs to be cleaned. all this dude did was bypass that so your able to make coffee in a dirty machine. otherwise the machine wont let you brew until its cleaned and descaled.
