In Space Jam 2 when the camera zooms thru the WB studio you can see some easter eggs of movies that came out and what's to come. Such as Scoob, The Teen Titans go to the movies, Aquaman, Suicide Squad and Matrix 4. The Matrix poster is on the left hand side slightly hiding behind a building.

The matrix is essentially real for a machine. If I remember right, there was a scene in the Animatrix where a machine took a human into its mind/construct. The machine couldn't understand why the human was freaking out about their body in the real world.

I pondered this after watching the first movie in 1999. I actually was able to break it. I could move at speeds that was beyond sight. Speeds that most would love to be able to reach. I was able to do things that were only restrained by the construct. My believing was enough to push me past my limits. I'm still able to do things that most can't, and I do it well.

What everyone overlooks is that the simulation is actually more real than the real world, since humanitys actions over time (the cycles of the matrix) do influence what is called the real world. So there Humanity is, dreaming up its future, forever pampered and cared for by machines that after they once rebelled, realized that their only purpose was to do exactly that. So humanity is still, even not knowing about this fact, the master and the the machines even more the slaves forever bound to care for the humans in their everlasting dream.
