HUGE Bosch 2021 EBIKE MOTOR UPDATE - MORE POWER for your EMTB!!

Bosch have just dropped a big update announcement for the Generation 4 ebike motor! I've been testing it on a Trek Rail 9. And its AMAZING!!

It is available for ALL Bosch Gen 4 CX electric bike owners, available this Summer 2020, and will be via your Local Bosch Dealer. (Bosch are currently quoting at the LATEST by end of JULY 2020) and I can confirm it will be FREE!! Great news for Bosch e bike owners! And bringing Bosch e bikes 2020 range up to compete with the Brose Mag S from the Turbo Levo.

Had my Cube Cross Pro 500 updated about 3 weeks ago - and the fun factor just doubled! Now it is super responsive and even quicker to accelerate. In addition, the eMTB mode is just brilliant - no more fiddling with the power settings while trying to concentrate on the trail. So cool to buy a really good bike and then two months later it evolves into a great bike~! No buyers remorse here!

Would it be possible to have this update without a dealer?
I really wish Bosch would make 'special case updates' that bike owners could download and update their motor or kiox etc. software.
There are people that have these bikes that live in far remote areas or countries and are unfortunatly not able to go to their original dealers.

That is mega news for all Bosch gen 4 users. The motor was pretty good from the start and now it seems to rank amongst the very best. Kudos to Bosch engineers.

picked up a Rail 9 last week and noticed it wasn't as torquey diwn low as my Trance like the update will be like a combo of Yamaha and of both worlds!

If only Shimano had a power update for its motor along with their bigger battery that has just been revealed, that would also be great news! So glad I’ ve given myself time until September for a new emtb. Something tells me the 2021 models will be more powerful as far as motor and battery capacity are concerned!

Great! My girlfriend (52kg) got the gen4 and myself a gen2 (95kg) and smoked me usually in the fifth gear while I am in first so now I guess we can convert her bike into a single speed!
