Today we are taste testing 12 different kinds of vegan cheese w/ our friend Caitlin & non-vegan friend Kiero + sharing our honest review!

Kiero isn't vegan yet but has started his journey a month or so ago! We're so excited to help him out with it and he said that after tasting the vegan cheese options available, he is certain that it will be a breeze!

ALSO! We got these cheese's at Natural Product Expo West last month which is why some of them do not have packaging. They will have proper labeling and branding in stores so I just wanted to give you a heads up!

FIRST! Not important though. Miyoko’s cheese and Kite Hill’s almond milk cream cheese are my favorites! And the faces in the thumbnail? PRICELESS.

The Follow Your Heart cheese slices are incredible. I’ve had many non vegans agree and like them. They’re a staple in my fridge! The herb and the pepper jack rule.

I just tried the Violife smoked provolone (you can get it at Whole foods) and it was the MOST amazing vegan cheese of all the ones I have tried! I am not vegan but I love trying the new cheeses/meat substitutes that these companies are coming out with. I can fully see if in the future they make these cheeses more competitively priced, people could transition to this with no problem. Great video!

The field roast chao is my favorite but i will definitely try the other selections that you've guys tried

I never buy vegan cheese because umm cheapness and only Whole Foods in my area carries vegan cheese. lol But recently I bought the So Delicious cheddar shreds to make vegan cheddar bay biscuits like Red Lobster and I actually thought it tasted pretty convincing.

Trader Joe's has a dairy free cheddar cheese that is really good, I use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches for my non vegan family members and they can't tell the difference. I also melt it in a little almond milk to make my own cheese sauce and pour it over cooked pasta, so good.

I've only ever tried the Chao original slices. I thought they had an after taste of coconut, which I didn't mind, but my husband and 4 year old didn't like it at all. I've been too afraid to try Daiya because everyone keeps saying that there's an after taste that isn't so pleasant.

I’m a brand new vegan so I really appreciated this! I’m actually transitioning right now and have a few cheese products I’m using up. But have vowed I wouldn’t buy any more stuff that wasn’t vegan. I am however a pizza lover at heart. What do you think are the best mozzarella shreds to use for cheese substitute? Thanks for the help!

Follow Your Heart and Chao cheese are my absolute favorites. I would love to try Myokos, but yeah, the price deters me 😕
