I saw Good Mythical Morning testing Vegan Cheeses and I wanted to try myself... but take it a step farther! I wanted to test vegan cheddar and see which one Tastes the best, which one melts the best, and which one is more like real cheddar cheese!

The goal of SauceStache is to continue trying something new, something new to me and something different.
I find inspirations from you the SauceSquad and my constant hunt of social media to see what food is being made around the globe and how can I try to make it. Lets try to make some food and have fun!!

That Daiya shouldn’t even still be on the market. Their Cutting Board version is better. It still baffles me that they haven’t just replaced it. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Violife is killing it. It’s my number 1 too. First time I seen it in my health food store they had a deal on it and I’m glad I tried it. But given the fact that these cheeses are so expensive I’m starting to learn how to make my own vegan cheese.

Hey Sauce Stache! Would you make a video on making fermented cashew cheese? It is a big thing with brands like miyoko's and other homemade recipes. It tastes really nice. Although the trick is related to the fermentation. I just want to see if it is possible to do at home.

I remember a few years back there was that huge commotion about Pizza Places (and other Places that use Cheese) used these cheaper Vegan Cheeses for their Products but didnt tell anyone that it was not real Cheese. And after they discovored it, they started to sell that Cheese as Vegan Cheese for like 3-4x the Price of Real Cheese

Here in England, we have a vegan version of my favourite cheese that I have tried so far in my life.
It's called "Applewood", the vegan version is gorgeous, it melts so well.
It's a smoked cheddar alternative.
If you ever get the chance to try I highly recommend it to you and anyone else on a plant based diet. 🌿 🧀
