I noticed APT says version 2.9.8 not 3.0 is this normal and getting warnings with sources.list missing pgp keys. But APT does function and I upgraded from the Update manager from Ubuntu 24.04 to 24.10; appears to work so far. ps: BTW the Kubuntu-oriole.jpg for background is nice, shows like a Oriole like a Pheonix with clouds behind it.

Someone had problems installing Ubuntu 24.10, after I checked the drivers and codecs, the installation stops. Snap busy is written in the log file.

Still it can minimise when clicking on the dock icon, 😂.and no show desktop icon on dock

24.10 is nothing special. Htop and system monitor use same icon, crashes and bugs. After 20 minutes i was done with Ubuntu 24.10 and swichted back to Fedora 41.
