One thing that drives me crazy on newer cars (not just Hyundai, a lot of companies do it) is adding an LED package but leaving some lights as traditional incandescent bulbs.

Does anyone think the rear indicators on the Tucson are too low down? Would they not be more visible if integrated with the stop lights making them more obvious to following road users! Beautiful car otherwise and great review as always.

Thank you Brian, I knew you would do a full report on the new Tucson and you did not disappoint. Really great review. Appreciate you taking the time.

It’s really unconscionable that the rear turn signals have been moved even lower by Hyundai. What were they thinking! They improved the visibility of the front turn signals, but worsened the rear. Amazing blunder.

Great review, Brian.

Brilliant comparison. It has helped me very much as i am going for a test drive of the 2025 Tucson ultimate on Saturday. Many thanks for taking the time to upload this video.

I have just bought one, delivery in November, the explanation you have given here has helped a lot. Its given me a better understanding re the vehicle and what I can expect and how everything works. So thank you for the video.

Great video, thank you very much. I've been waiting so long for more details on the facelift.
I have few questions, if you are able to answer them:
1. Is it true that on the facelift the rear doors have soft-touch material instead of just plastic like on the old model?
2. Is the size of the arm-rest storage the same? Would it be possible to re-use my storage tray for the facelift?
3. For HEV/PHEV I have saw in an unpublished tech. specs that there is now a PTC heater that helps warming the cabin without using the ICE? Can you confirm that and add more details?
4. I saw on a video from Romania that there was something new below the foam in the trunk, there is a hole and something looking like a fan. I am not sure if it's only for hybrids or for the top-line models, but could you check for that also?
5. Again, for PHEV - in a Czech user manual there is a mention about a Li-po 12V battery (explicitly for PHEV). I know that the old model uses a standard 12V car battery. Could you check if there are differences in that regard?
Sorry for so many questions and thank you in advance in case you are able and have time to address some of them.

Thank you for comparison. Maybe you have a video for new Tucson in a base trim? Want to see how different is the instrumental screen on the entry level model

nice comparison, only you did it with 2 different versions. For example, the older version you showed does not have a 360° camera(mine has it), it was present in the highest version. Same for blind spot cameras.
The doors now seem less well finished.
The higher version has 2 memory seat buttons in the door, and in the old version nicely integrated, the new one has the buttons glued on.
The steering wheel of the new version is soulless, the older version had 4 nice spokes.
The top spec version of the previous model also had digital temperature control at the back. The previous one also had the dashed stripe in the seat and also has adaptive cruise control, mine has it.
Of course they have improved things like the head up display that you did not mention.
The larger rear wiper. Instead of 2 x 10.5 inch displays, there are now 2 x 12 inch displays together. The wireless android auto is a great upgrade but should be tested, mine is bad with a dongle, perfect with wire...
I have been driving the previous model for a month now and I certainly do not think it is any less good.
The interior was unique, now it looks too much like a Kona.
But thanks for bringing them next to each other, was great to see.

Thanks Brian for an excellent presentation. I am considering updating my 22 Tucson Executive to 24 version. I'm a little disappointed that the 24 model still has no LED Booth bar. No LED headlights and finally the very low positioning of indicators is giving me a reason to pause in my decision

Thanks Brian for another great presentation for a great car

The ‘21 model looks just more balanced outside and more special inside. I would never change my ‘22 Tucson for this facelift.

the 2021 Tucson Ultimate was adaptive cruise control, I have one and it drives me to work lol

For younger and more tech-saavy buyers, the Shift By Wire System isn't confusing.
But it might be for more older buyers (?)
Do you usually teach older drivers / buyers how to operate the Rotary Gearbox / Transmission shifter?

Great review I’ve the 221 executive plus hybrid in white love it especially the fact that it’s automatic and the sport mode I use for overtaking it’s so nippy!
