Just lads being lads. It's all the same no matter where in the world you are. Great to see!

Lars, speaking from experience here... When you're on 'bouncy' ground like that, PLEASE carry a firm stick about 2 - 2, 5 mtr long, and continuously poke the ground in front of you before stepping on it!

Chances are you are on a floating peat mat, and not only can the poking help you find weak spots and thus prevent you from falling through, but should you fall through anyway, you can often save yourself from total submersion by swiftly moving the stick to a position parallel to the ground and catching yourself on it.

Floating peat bogs like that can be EXTREMELY treaturous. Please be careful out there. The ninjas need their dad!

When I was a youngster my grandfather would tie bells on my shoes when we were out hiking in the woods, he said it was to warn the bears that big strong guys were here. Great memories

When traveling in bear country here we always take a women with us. The constant dialogue warns any bear we are coming and if a bear attacks you can always outrun her.

The part where you're going through the forest with heavy metal feels like a "found footage" film

Any video that starts with we are in a dark forest in the middle of the night has to be good. :) Playing hide and seek with a Russian Ranger Yogi is just class. Spasibo brat chelovek !!

Lars,
I laughed for 10 mins at the burger shooting. Cognac rules, I have a liquor store. Love the vids. Please keep on keeping on.

Lars great video and glad you guys found the lake, quite the trek for sure. Man it looks like lots of dead and dry wood in that area heading into the lake. Been near freezing at night here but we finally had rain to help with the fire hazards in the area. Glad the filter has come in handy and being used. Take care Lars and have a great week...Fred

Lars, much love from TEXAS USA. Nothing like fun and work with brothers. Id love to see the footage that never made it into this video. Super awesome.

Hi Lars, I think the noise you took a pop at was more than likely a Yogi Bear, they are fairly colourful characters who mainly eat the contents of picnic baskets, you obviously scared him and he dropped his bag and ran. They live mainly in North America though and are usually in the company of a Bobo....hope this helps with your mystery

Nothing like a brutall awesome excursion in the bush to a remote place. The remoteness is the reward for the hard work. The reward is deserved
