What features are you most excited to see in the Apple Watch 8 next year? Will it have a boxy design?
*ALSO: Beware of scammers!! I will never ask for your money, I do not give prizes, and I do not use WhatsApp!*

For charging I plop my watch on the charger in the morning while I’m having my coffee and also top up the charge at night just before going to bed. I do wear it while I sleep for sleep tracking. Going from the Apple Watch Series 3 to the Series 7 was a huge change. It has so many additional features. O2 sensor, ECG, Noise, etc.

Thanks for mentioning accessibility on the 7; I fairly recently started using a white cane for the visually impaired and how that I have to hold and pay attention to what the tip is telling me with my right hand, how good the accessibility on a device is gets more crucial to me. I'm a longtime Samsung user, but the latest update to my Samsung totally screwed up my accessibility this last time, so I am finally looking to make the big leap to iOS. I value a company that prioritises stability for people like me with a print disability.

Good, balanced review. I've had mine for about a month now and it was my first Apple Watch. I love it but I like cool tech and am heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem, so that's maybe not surprising. It's little things I like - for example the way my MacBook unlocks automatically because of the watch, and Apple Pay (which is pain with the phone when wearing a mask).

Charging was a concern before I got it but I find that mine is usually only down to about 30-40% after 24 hours, including overnight, and a 40 min charge while I'm getting up in the morning is enough to charge it fully for the coming day, so for me it's not really an issue at all.

7:24 You can change the amount of stand hours you want, as well as exercise and move rings. The exercise and stand are recent additions. But also, usually the stand ring is for also moving around for a minute, so you’re also not just standing without any movement for too long

At 75, I have a tendency to view dirt close up; in other words, I trip and fall. Secondly, I have large hands. Thirdly, I have some cardiac issues. The 7 meets those issues I have to deal with; even though I had to upgrade from a 6s plus to an 11{an other story).
After a month, I am pleased with the functionality of the 7. I tend to use the scroll feature to view my apps instead of those icons.
Battery life is disappointing but will learn to deal with.
At one month in, it gets 5 stars

I don't know why Mike is so underrated. His reviews are purely honest.

This is the first actual review of the series 7 that I’ve watched. 😮 Really appreciate the way you highlight what additional value we are getting by going with the 7 vs the SE. lots of other folks will just default to recommending the highest end of tech without evaluating the products

In regards to charging, with the new fast charging, I just throw my watch on the charger in the morning when I shower and get ready. That 30-40 mins in the morning is enough to last to the next day even using fitness tracking.

I totally agree! Apple should have one charger for everything. It’s really annoying to carry all my chargers with me.

Thank you for highlighting the port fragmentation in Apple ecosystem. I find it weird almost no one really want to complain about it since it's a real nuisance. Apple fans always bragging their smooth ecosystem talking to each other but when it comes to charging, it got complicated very quickly lol ...

After watching your review I made the right decision buying the Apple Watch SE for first timer. New Subscriber

No one Needs the Applewatch, but it does make life easier within the apple ecosystem. The most useful feature for me is to unlock my phone tbh and health aspect of it. It’s just a fun, cool tech toy, I hope series 8 will have more health feature like measure body temp which shouldn’t be hard to implement at all. Blood pressure and glucose will be nice to have but not possible with just light sensors

I got the series 7 like 2 weeks ago and I couldn't disagree more about the battery life, I use the sleep tracking which is incredibly useful and gives me great insight into how I'm sleeping(I have diagnosed insomnia, so it really helps), but I wake up, put it on the charger while I take a 15-20 minute shower and it's always fully charged by the time I get out of the shower. Plus, at the end of the day it's usually at only 65% or so and takes 10 minutes to charge it back up to 100%

I also came from a Samsung watch which would last maybe 24 hours max, and charged slowly in comparison and didn't have sleep tracking so I put it on the charger overnight. Love the Apple watch so far, it's so much more than I expected, definitely worth the money(I got it for $300 though, I don't know about $530.. that's a lot of money)
